Norma E. Fancher, 89, of Union, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at South Mountain Rehabilitation Center.
Norma was born on October 12, 1928 in Irvington, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Burrell and Edith (nee Johnson) Vroom.
Norma was a graduate of Irvington High School and a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Springfield, NJ.
Norma was predeceased by her second husband, Donald Fancher in 2014 and her first husband Charles Hambrock in 1969. She was the loving mother of Linda Hambrock Koenig (Carl), Cheryl Hambrock (late Steven Kozlowski) and Susan Laudati (Anthony). She was the cherished grandmother of Lee Kozlowski, Nicole Laudati, and great-grandson, Landyn Kozlowski. In addition, she is survived by step children; William Fancher and Susan Church; step grandchildren; Jeremy Logan, Sara Peters, Laura Fancher and step great grandchildren: Lucy Schmidt and William Peters.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm with a funeral service at 5:00 p.m.at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed in her name to the American Heart Association.
