Melissa Lynn Mazzei, “Missy”, 44, of Jersey City, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015. Born in Staten Island, raised in Butler, NJ, Missy had also lived in Phoenix, AZ and San Diego, Ca before moving to Jersey City 3 years ago.
Her interest in medicine led her to become a certified EMT and an Emergency Room technician at Morristown Medical Center. She was an animal lover, who had a particular soft spot for bulldogs. In her younger years, as a gymnast at Butler High School, she was the NJ State Champion.
Missy is survived by her parents, Michael Mazzei and Sarah Reagan; sisters Kimberly Mazzei and Sarah Gueltzow and her husband Tim.
