Michael V. Mahon, 61 of Union, New Jersey passed away suddenly on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ. Michael was born on January 8, 1958 in Orange, New Jersey. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Rea (nee Augenstein) Mahon.

Michael loved to draw, tend to his garden and decorate. He enjoyed making people happy and his nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart as he was affectionally known as “Uncle Mikey.”

Michael is survived by his mother, Rea Mahon. He is also survived by his brothers; Jack, Kevin and Chris. He was the cherished uncle and God father of nieces Danielle and Kaitlyn, and nephews Matt, Kevin, Vincent, Christopher and great niece, Kaylyn and great nephew Ryley. In addition, he will be dearly missed by his beloved dog, Carli.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Bradley, Haeberle, and Barth Funeral Home located at 1100 Pine Avenue in Union, NJ 07083.

Funeral:
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:15 at St. Michael The Archangel Church - 1212 Kelly Street, Union, NJ 07083.

Committal:
An entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
