Mary Louise Kohler Cosford
Mary Louise Kohler Cosford, 91, of Chatham, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy, MD surrounded by family.
Mary was born on June 27, 1923 in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Reverend Edgar William Kohler and Elizabeth Sechrist Kohler.
Mary was married to William Clark Cosford on July 5, 1943. She was a 1941 graduate of Red Lion High School, PA and Cedar Crest College in 1945. She was a lifelong resident of Chatham since 1949.
She was a member of the Chatham Community Players, Chatham Women’s Club, and Canoe Brook Country Club. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing golf. She was a devoted lover of animals, especially poodles. She also liked gardening, cooking and theater.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband William and her son, William, Jr. She is survived by her cousin, Donald Kohler of New Market, MD, his family and many friends.
A visitation will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the Chatham Township Presbyterian Church, 240 Southern Blvd., Chatham, NJ 07928. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. An interment will be at Fair Mount Cemetery, Chatham, NJ.
