Mary Jane Russin of Whippany, died on December 28, 2018 at her home. She was 88. Mary Jane was born in Whippany, where she was a lifelong resident. A graduate of Bayley High School, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the College of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station. She worked in Research at Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceutical in Summit for 33 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Whippany. Mary Jane was the daughter of the late Mary M. Russin. She is survived by her dear friends, Natalie Gibbons, Kathleen McDonald and Suzanne Gayet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10am at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, on Whippany Rd., in Whippany. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown. Visitation will be held at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd in Whippany, on Friday, one hour prior to the Mass. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
