Mary J. “Marie” Conlan, 94, of Chatham, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Chatham Hills.

Mary was born on April 13, 1924 in Summit, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Mary (nee Mooney) Germershausen.

She was a graduate of Madison High School and a long time parishioner of Corpus Christi Church. Mary loved horses and liked playing baseball and basketball in her earlier years.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bernard Conlan. She was the loving mother of sons; Daniel, Bernard and Christopher Conlan, cherished grandmother of Kevin, Tabatha and Kristy Conlan and great-grandmother of Nick and Rachael Conlan.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, located at 345 Main Street, Chatham, NJ 07928. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:15 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit, NJ. In her memory donations can be made to the Chatham Fire Department or Chatham First Aid Squad.
