Marlene Ruth Fisher, age 83, of New Providence, NJ passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017. She was born in Summit, NJ on May 30,1934. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Roger Fisher, and her three children, Steven Fisher of San Diego, CA, Scott Fisher of Chatham, NJ and Susan Fisher-Gallagher of Round Rock, TX. She has five grandchildren, ages 4 thru 20: Connor, Lindsey, Davis, Kristina and Phoebe. Marlene worked at Reed Publishing in New Providence, NJ for over 15 years as a Manager of the Revisions Department. Marlene will always be remembered for her ever giving kindness, amiability, and devotion to her family. She was very fond of trips to the beach, tennis and crafts. We would like to extend special thanks to Grace Hospice and the staff of the Chelsea Memory Care Unit in Warren, NJ.
