Marion L. Habuda, 82, of Morris Plains, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 04, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Marion was born on September 12, 1931 in Lincoln Park, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harlan and Irma (nee Qucsai) Reeder.

Marion was a diehard New York Yankees fan and enjoyed going to games with her friends and family. She was an animal lover and loved feeding the wild animals. She was a big advocate of donating to various organizations, including her favorite, Popcorn Park Zoo. Marion loved taking trips to Atlantic City and had a memorable and contagious laugh.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward S. Habuda, Sr. and her son, Michael Habuda. She is survived by her son, Edward S. Habuda, Jr., three grandchildren, Chari, Edward S., III., and Steven Habuda, and one great-granddaughter, Thalia E. Habuda. She is also survived by brothers, Charlie Hall (Eileen), Harlan Reeder, sister-in-law, Jean Stefanick (John), brother-in-laws, John Habuda (Nancy) and Adam Habuda (Caroline) and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8 2014 at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls, NJ. Cremation will be private.
