Marilyn T. Bratz, 76, of Millington, NJ, passed away on November 21, 2018. Memorial visiting hours will be held at Canoe Brook Country Club, 1108 Morris Tpke, Summit, NJ on Sunday, December 2nd from 1 to 4pm.
Born in East Orange, NJ, the daughter of Robert and Thelma (Hutchinson) Brumell, Marilyn was raised in Bloomfield and Randolph. She graduated from Dover High School in 1960 and received her Associates Degree from Green Mountain College in Vermont. Prior to raising her family, Marilyn was a stewardess with Eastern Airlines, and worked as a secretary with Ciba-Geigy in Summit. A longtime member at Canoe Brook Country Club, she enjoyed playing golf, bridge and vacationing with her family in Maine and Long Beach Island.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of 51 years to Ted Bratz. She was the loving mother of Tracey Ramee and her husband Paul, Tami Batten and her husband Craig, and Barbie Niehoff and her husband Greg. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Hunter, Devan, Owen, Rylee, Oliver, Ryder, and Grayson, and dear sister, Pamela Sayre and her husband Skip. She is predeceased by her brother, Robert H. Brumell, Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn’s memory may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation, 415 Crossways Park, Suite D, Woodbury, NY 11797.
