Marie Klug, 94, of Union passed away at her home on November 12, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James the Apostle Church, 45 S. Springfield Ave. in Springfield, NJ on Thursday, November 20th at 11:00am. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. in Springfield from 9 to 10:30am prior to the Mass.

Born and raised in Olyphant, PA Marie had also lived in Irvington before moving to Union 61 years ago. A Homemaker, Marie will be fondly remembered as a great seamstress and cook and how she loved to keep a meticulous home.

Marie was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Russell. She was the loving mother of Robert and his wife Adrienne of Hillsborough, NJ and Elaine Porter and her husband Mark of Redmond, OR. She is also survived by her 2 cherished grandsons, Robert, Jr. and Christopher. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville 07834.
