Marie Dolores Cooke, 89, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013. Born in Newark, she has lived in Morris, Bergen and Hunterdon counties. Dolores was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her life. She enjoyed antiques and historical buildings, and was a wonderful homemaker. She appreciated art, and had aspirations of being a dress maker.
Predeceased by her husband Charles, and daughter Judith Anne; Dolores is survived by her sons Dwight H., and his wife Phyllis, and David W. and his wife Ann; grandchildren Jennifer Herbert and her husband Scott, Dwight M. Cooke and his wife Maggi, Abbigail E. Peters and her husband Charles, and Allison J. Cooke and her fiancé Warren Ferdinand; great grandson Quinn Cooke; and brother Richard Hubert.
There will be a visitation at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany on Thursday from 5-9pm, with a service beginning at 8:30pm. Interment will take place on Friday at Restland Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the funeral home at 10:30am on Friday.
