Margaret E. Mahon

Margaret E. Mahon, 80, of Chatham, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2015. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 11am at St. Patrick Church, 85 Washington Ave., corner of Chatham St., in Chatham. Interment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit. Arrangements are handled by Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, Chatham.

Margaret was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Irvington before moving to Chatham almost 30 years ago. She was educated at St. Leo’s Parochial School in Irvington, and Irvington High School. She graduated with highest honors from Broward Community College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Margaret was employed in the title insurance industry for 30 years, as a title insurance underwriter.

Margaret was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend. Predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Edward Mahon, and brothers Thomas and John Mahon; Margaret is survived by her brother, Edward, and several nieces and nephews and their families.
