Madelin P. Schofield of Whippany died at Sunrise of Basking Ridge on Friday, June 22, 2012. She was 93. Born in Hibernia, she was raised in Hibernia and Rockaway. She lived in Whippany for 56 years.
Madelin was predeceased by her husband George in 1974 and is survived by her daughter Susan & her husband John Klein of Homerville, GA, and son Gerald Schofield & his wife Lisa of Basking Ridge. Grandmother of Suzanne Josie, Robin Jones, Kerin Crews, Sean M. Schofield and Jason A. Schofield, she was also great grandmother of six, great-great grandmother of four and also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Madelin was a Researcher for Crum & Forster in Basking Ridge and previously worked for NY Life in New York City. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Whippany and a member of the Rosary Society in addition to being active with the Hanover Township Seniors.
