Louis Del Mauro, 48, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012, surrounded by his wife and children, family, and friends. Born in Springfield, Louie has lived there his whole life and worked for the family business of L. Del Mauro Landscaping. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Springfield Council #5560. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the NY Yankees and enjoyed coaching several local sports teams over the years, including Girls Rec Basketball and Minutemen Football. He was active with St James Church in Springfield, volunteering at their functions and carnivals, and teaching CCD. He enjoyed vacationing in Wildwood and spending time with friends and family – he enjoyed life. He adored his two children Nina and Luigi and was a great dad. Predeceased by his father Luigi Del Mauro, and brother Gene Del Mauro, Louis is survived by his wife Renee (nee Harbet) of 16 years; daughter Nina; son Luigi; mother Maria Del Mauro; brothers Nino Del Mauro and Joseph Del Mauro and their families; his mother-in-law; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and their families and his best friend Dominick Barone, as well as countless other friends
