Lois Weber, 85, of Springfield passed away at Runnells Specialized Hospital on July, 11th. A Celebrant Service will be held at Bradley Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave., Springfield on Saturday, July 20th at 11:30am. Visiting hours will be from 10am to 11:30 prior to the service.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, Lois was a life long resident of Springfield. She graduated from Millburn High School in 1945 and the University of Delaware in 1949 with a degree in chemistry. Lois had worked as a chemist for Schering Plough in Kenilworth for over 40 years until her retirement in 1997. She had served on the Board of Health in Springfield and volunteered at the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside.
Lois is survived by her family; Alan (Anne) Parmelee of Lower Alloways Creek, Michael (Sara) Parmelee of Atlantic Highlands, Janet Garrison of Alloway, and Kyle (Sheri) Parmelee of Gambrills, Maryland.
