Linda Skwarek, age 72 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2019 at her home in Flemington, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, August 28, 1947, daughter of the late James and Mildred Neigel Bondarovich, she had formerly resided in Union, NJ, graduating from Union High School in 1965.
Linda was a floral department manager for Pathmark in Union, NJ.
She loved nature, was an avid reader, and was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her three children, Dawn Johnson and her husband Glenn of Milford, NJ, Brian Skwarek and his wife Rose of Manhattan, NY, and Cheryl Gero of Elizabeth, NJ; two siblings, James Bondarovich and his wife Carolyn of Colorado and Karen Wentzheimer of Fanwood, NJ, and six grandchildren, Sean, Kimberly, Matthew, Michael, Emily and Adam.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue in Union, from 9:30am until the service begins at 11am. The burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Linda’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
