Lina (Russo) Manderski of Union died peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 6, 2011. She was 80. Born in Italy, she lived in Union for the past 18 years and previously lived in Irvington.
Lina came to the US from Italy in the mid 1950’s, met and married her husband Anthony and raised her family. She was a loving mother who loved to cook and spend her time with her family.
Lina is was predeceased by her husband Anthony of 49 years in 2007 and is survived by her children: Mary and her husband Joseph Jascur of Union, John of Morganville and his wife Cynthia and Pasquale of Metuchen; grandchildren: Maria and her husband Rick Villafrade, Nicole Marletta, Joseph Jascur, and Elizabeth, Melissa and Heather Manderski and great grandchildren, Michilina, Anthony & Ella Villafrade. She is also survived by 6 brothers & sisters and many nieces & nephews.
