Lidia Pepe of Whippany died at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 8. She was 81 years old. Born in Alberona, Foggia Italy, she moved to Orange NJ on 1968 and had lived in Whippany for over 20 years.
Lidia was predeceased by her husband Domenico; and is survived by her siblings: Antonio D’Egidio & his wife Michelina, Maria & her husband Domenico Niro, Giuseppe D’Egidio & his wife Maryann and sister in law Donatina D’Egidio; daughters: Lucia Verderame and Ninetta & her husband Guiseppe Esposito. Grandmother of: Antonietta (Verderame) & her husband Rob Darcy, Maria (Esposito) & her husband Carl Mess, Lidia Esposito, Ninetta Esposito & her husband Donald Lagas, Domenico Verderame & his wife Sigal and granddaughter-in-law Sonia Verderame; Great-grandmother of Robert, Brianna, Gabriella, Domenico, Luciano, Giovanna, Giana & Matteo. She was also predeceased by her brother Mario D’Egidio and grandson Raffaele Verderame.
Lidia was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother helping to nurture and care for each generation. She worked as a Dress Maker at Madewell Inc. in Orange before retiring.
