Katherine Marie Johansen, (nee Mrvica), 91, of Cape May, NJ, formerly of Whippany, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on June 2, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, raised in Belmar, she lived in Newark, Whippany for 35 years and Cape May for the last 28 years. Katherine was a homemaker. Katherine is pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph Johansen, she is survived by her sons, Frederick and his former wife Roxanne, Roger & Karen, Gary & Roberta, 8 grandchildren, Frederick, Jr., Ryan, Christopher, Eric, Brian and his wife Patrice, Joseph, Megan, Emma and two great-grandchildren, Peyton & Brooklyn. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 11:30 am at Restland Memorial Park Chapel, East Hanover.
