Katherine M. LeBoeuf “Kay”, 82, of Whippany and Naples, Fl, passed away at Forest Manor Healthcare in Frelinghuysen on April 18th. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Whippany Rd, Whippany on Tuesday, April 23rd at 11:00am. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd, Whippany on Monday from 4-8pm. Born and raised in Newark, Kay had lived in Whippany for many years before retiring to Naples and Stewartsville, NJ. Many years ago she had worked as a model for Kresge’s Department Store in Newark and as a secretary for local construction companies. Kay later became an executive secretary at Exxon Research and Engineering in Florham Park retiring in 1994 after 15 years of service. “Aunt Kay” will be fondly remembered for her legendary cleaning and ironing skills, her organization, and her devotion to her family and faith.


Kay was the beloved wife of the late Frederick. She was the loving mother of Rick and his wife Joanne, and Jill LeBoeuf. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughters, Ashley and Jody, her dear sisters, Anna Schmidt, Rita DeBoey and husband Jerry, Marge Schleifer and husband Joseph, and Gail Dennebaum and husband Vincent as well as many loving relatives. Her granddaughter Mallory passed away previously. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay’s memory may be made to your local hospice organization.
