Jozefa Kwasnik, 87, of Chatham passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Care One Nursing Home in Madison. Born in Lipnica, Poland. Jozefa came to the United States in 1960 with her husband Frank and two children, Theresa and Thaddeus, and Frank Jr., who was born a month later. Jozefa was an excellent seamstress, sewing dresses, gowns, clothes, making her own dress patterns for children and adults. They settles in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg section, later moved to Queens, and finally to Chatham in 1996, after retirement to be close to family. Jozefa is the beloved wife of the late Frank (who died in 2014). They were married for 60 years. She also leaves behind her devoted children, Theresa Silverstein, Thaddeus and Frank Jr, dear grandchildren Nicholas Silverstein, Teddy, Daniel, Bonnie and Jon Kwasnik. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10 am at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 94 Maple Ave, Morristown, NJ. Everyone is invited to meet directly at the Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA. There will be a visitation on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 3 to 9 pm at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham, NJ.
