Beloved Father, Brother, Friend, Professional Engineer

Joseph Masucci, 54 of New Providence, NJ, on April 25, 2015. Proud father of triplets. Joe is survived by Maggie, Clare and Joe. Joseph is pre-deceased by his parents, Louis M. & Mary DePaola Masucci. He is survived by his three siblings, Lou, Mary Jo and Ferdy. Joe dedicated his life to his family and friends and did everything with a passion that led to success in all that he did. After graduating Seton Hall Prep with honors and winning a high school state championship in football, Joe went on the earn a degree in engineering from the University of Miami and his MBA from Seton Hall University. From there he became an accomplished mechanical engineer. His career was highlighted by doing the engineering work for the repairs to the reflection pool at the Washington Monument and for New York City’s next luxury high rise at 432 Park Ave, and worked on the official White House Helicopter. His volunteer work as a Trustee of New Providence Community Pool. Led to significant improvements which its members will enjoy for years to come. Joe was also a volunteer member of the Red Cross Disaster Action Team. He was the inspiration for his kids to graduate high school with honors and go on to the colleges they presently attend. His friends from grammar and high school remain his closest friends to this day. Joe touched our hearts with all that he did and he will be missed by all. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11 am at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham Township, NJ. Entombment St. Teresa’s Cemetery. Visiting hours, Tuesday, from 4 to 9 pm at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham.
