John Thomas Reynolds, 71, of Chatham Borough passed away on July 28, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 85 Washington Ave. in Chatham on Wednesday, August 3rd at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Fair Mount Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St in Chatham on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Born in Montclair, the son of John and Fay Reynolds, John was raised in East Orange where he graduated from Clifford J. Scott High School. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art from Newark State College. John was an art teacher at Livingston High School for 32 years until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of the Clifford J. Scott Reunion Committee and ROMEO (retired old men eating out). John enjoyed the beach, yard sales, Broadway and keeping in touch with his many high school friends and retired teachers from Livingston.
John is survived by his son Michael John Reynolds, his sister Mary Beth Ponicall and her husband James Longo, his partner Roland Perkins and nephews Matthew and Daniel Ponicall.
