John Patrick Fenlon

John Patrick Fenlon of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, passed away on April 30, 2012. John was born on February 15, 1934 in Bayshore, NY. He attended and graduated from Princeton University in 1955 and received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Columbia University in 1962. John served in the U.S. Navy as an Ensign from 1955 to 1957, aboard the U.S.S. Cotton. He was employed by Worthington Pump Corp from 1957 through 1987. He also was selected as a representative to the Hydraulic Institute and served as the President in 1987. After leaving Worthington, John was the founder and CEO of Business Consulting Group. John also taught marketing and management classes, most recently, as an Adjunct Professor at Stockton College of New Jersey. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending time with his family.


John was a loving and caring husband, father, brother and grandfather. John is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Jean R. Fenlon. He is also survived by his children, Bradford Fenlon and his wife Lisa, Brian Fenlon, Deirdre Fenlon and stepson Gregory Babowal and his wife Holly. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Jake and Alexandra Fenlon and Kaylie, Grace and Addison Babowal. John is also survived by his loving siblings, Ellen Nidds, Martin Fenlon, and Ann Fenlon and many nieces and nephews.


John will be thoroughly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
