John “Jackie” Pagliara, 59, of Chatham passed away on June 8, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 85 Washington Ave., Chatham, on Tuesday, June 13th at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit. Born in Summit, the son of Henry and Barbara Pagliara, Jackie was raised in Chatham Borough where he graduated High School in 1978. He was employed as a driver for Chatham Auto Parts for many years. Prior to that he worked at Chatham Liquors, Charles Bessler Company and Prudential Insurance in Florham Park. Jackie was an avid photographer, especially at car shows!
Jackie was the beloved brother of his twin, James, and his wife Kathryn, Barbara Downey, and her husband Lawrence, and Thomas. He is also survived by his nephews Kyle Downey and Steven Pagliara. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
