~~John “Jack” Glynn, 80, of Chatham Township, passed away on January 31, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd, Chatham on Tuesday, February 4th at 10:30am. Interment is private. Friends are invited to visit at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St, Chatham on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
Born in Jersey City and raised in Kearny, Jack had also lived in Scotch Plains before moving to Chatham Township 41 years ago. He graduated from St. Peter’s Prep and St. Peter’s College, both in Jersey City, earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as a CPA. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. He was the Chief Financial Officer for Baird Patrick & Co. in Jersey City.
Jack was the beloved husband of 54 years to Anita. He was the loving father of Judith Mastronardy (Linus), John Glynn (Janet), James Glynn (Ellen), and Kenneth Glynn (Dawn). He is also survived by his 9 cherished grandchildren, sisters, Patricia Kelly and Maureen Nicholas and brother, Richard Glynn (Lynette). In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack’s memory may be made to either Corpus Christi Church, The Chatham Emergency Squad, 45 Spring St, Chatham, NJ 07928 or a charity of choice.
