John A. Brown Jr., 57, of Springfield died on Thursday Dec. 29, 2011. He was born in Newark and raised in Maplewood. John lived in Irvington for 20 years before moving to Springfield 16 years ago. John worked for Millburn Twp. Dept. of Sanitation for 31 years before retiring in June as Assistant Foreman. He was an avid NASCAR fan especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Sr. Also fan of the Giants, Mets and a Harley-Davidson enthusiast. Loving husband of 35 years to Debra A. Brown (nee Campanelli) of Springfield. Brother of Amber Lynn Ocejo and Joseph H. Brown. Nephew of Walter and his wife Lois Lee.
