Joan E. Watts, 86, a lift-long resident of Florham Park, New Jersey passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 26, 2018.
Joan was born on April 23, 1932 in Morristown, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard and Catherine (Lingle) Wetter.
Joan was a 1950 graduate of Madison High School. She worked as a Law Liberian for Allied before retiring in 1991. Joan was a parishioner of Holy Family Church, Florham Park, NJ where she was a member of the rosary society.
In her spare time, she loved boating, fishing, walking and playing bridge. Joan was a life time member of the United States Power Squadron.
Joan was the loving mother of Robert Graeber and wife Holly. She was the cherished Grammy of Robert Graeber, Jr. and wife Lisa, Peter Graeber, Katherine Graeber, Elizabeth Graeber and was the great-Grammy of Nicholas, Kendall and Bradley. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Bernard Wetter, Jr. and wife Shirley and nieces; Pam, Debby and Cindy
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham, NJ 07928. A prayer service will be held 12:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
