Jim D'Addezio

James R. D’Addezio, “Jim”, 76, of Chatham, formerly of Verona, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Born in Passaic, Jim grew up in Pompton Plains and lived in Verona for many years before moving to Chatham 12 years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Army, who served during the Vietnam War. Jim spent the majority of his career with Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company, and was awarded the designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute with a specialization in Life Insurance Accounting. Jim enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music, traveling and playing tennis. He had a deep appreciation for nature and the environment. Jim is survived by his wife Lori and their daughters Kaitlyn and Emma; his former wife Kirstin Kraa and their son Illya D’Addezio and his wife Elaine; brother Joseph D’Addezio, sister Gail Matteo and their families. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11am at St. Patrick Church, 85 Washington Avenue, in Chatham. Burial of ashes will be held privately at a later date.
