March 13, 1964 – December 29, 2015
Jill Betzner passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2015, at her home in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was 51. Jill was born and raised in Union, NJ, graduating from Union High School in 1982 and American University in Washington D.C. in 1986. She spent her entire career in banking, most recently with Wells Fargo Bank in Charlotte.
Jill is survived by her grieving family, father Gerald Betzner of Lavallette, NJ, brother Gerald Betzner Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Warren NJ, sister Karen Betzner and her husband Jim Simkalo of Mill Valley, CA, nephews Nick, Thomas, Jacob, Sam and Charlie, cousins Keith Gramlich, Kim Heller, David Martin, Jeffrey Martin and Christine Bonaventura and numerous other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother Josephine.
Jill is remembered for her very big personality and her gift for loving others without reservation. She had a tremendous work ethic and a real zest for life. We were blessed to know her. Jill, let golden slumbers fill your eyes. Sleep little darling, do not cry. A smile will awake you when you rise.
Friends may visit Wednesday, January 6, 2016, from 4-8 pm at Bradley, Haeberle and Barth Funeral Home in Union and are invited to attend the funeral mass on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 10-15 am at St. Michael’s Church in Union. The burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Cemetery, Union. A luncheon in celebration of Jill’s life will be held after the burial.
