Jeannie Davenport Szabo, 19, of Whippany, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
Born in Morristown, Jeannie lived in Whippany her whole life. She was a graduate of Whippany Park High School. She was a cheerleader, swimmer, softball player, talented writer and an avid inline skater.
Jeannie was predeceased by her dear Uncle Matt Davenport. She was the cherished daughter of Rosemary (Davenport) and Mark Szabo; beloved twin sister and soulmate of Justin Rose Szabo; treasured granddaughter of Jeanie Davenport and the late Harry, and Vivian Szabo and the late Earnest.
Jeannie also leaves her Aunt Kathleen and Uncle Ed Leaman and cousins Shawn, Ryan and Molly, Aunt Valerie and Uncle Forrest Phillip, Aunt Karen and Uncle Frank Bochinski and cousins David and Steven, Aunt Joan and Uncle Jimmy Kveglis and cousins Jennifer and Bryan. Jeannie will also be missed by many friends and special relatives.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Whippany. Interment to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery, Whippany. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Bradley Braviak Funeral Home 49 Whippany Rd., in Whippany.
