James T. O’Connor, 78, of Bronx, New York passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017.
James was born on May 12, 1939 in New York, NY. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. and Josephine (Fagan) O’Connor.
James was a graduate of Fordham Prep and Fordham University with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. He furthered his education at Pace University, Lehman College, New York University, and City College of New York with multiple MBA’s.
James worked as a Special Education Teacher in Harlem for over 30 years. He also became the Chapter Leader in greater New York City area.
James was an avid reader and writer. He loved writing economic and political science pieces.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham, NJ 07928. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed in his name to: ECLC of New Jersey Chatham Campus, 21 Lum Ave. Chatham, NJ 07928.
