James P. Adorna, Sr., 75, of Maplewood, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at him home.
James was born on December 3, 1941 in Summit, NJ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Florence (nee Bender) Adorna.
James was an avid Corvette and Harley enthusiast. He worked construction in various roles for the past 60 years.
James was predeceased by his wife earlier this year, Barbara Adorna. He was the loving father of daughter, Kathy Paterek (John), son, James, Jr. (Terri) and daughter, Karen Voegele (John) and step-daughter, Debra Shaw (William) and grandfather of TJ, Sarah, Andrew, Sam, Michael, Santino, Jennifer, Kimberly, Mallory, William and Keri.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home 1100 Pine Ave, Union NJ 07083. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. An interment will follow at Yellow Frame Church Cemetery, Newton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 98018, Washington, DC 20090-8018.
