James Richard McHugh, 59, of Florham Park passed away on February 27, 2018 surrounded by wife Susan (Barrett) and their children. A memorial service will be held at the Community Congregational Church, 200 Hartshorn Dr., in Short Hills, NJ 07078 on Saturday, March 3rd at 10:30 AM. Born in Orange, NJ, the son of Richard and Audrey (Behrle) McHugh, Jim was raised in Maplewood where he graduated from high school in 1976. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1981. Jim was a Vice President in Global Sales with Oracle Corporation for the past twenty years. Previously he was with Weiss-Aug. Inc. for fifteen years. He always enjoyed spending time with his family or working on a new home or car project.
Jim was the beloved husband of 33 years to Susan. He was the loving father of Emily Conroy and her husband Michael, Amy McHugh and James McHugh II. He is also survived by his cherished grandson Theodore Conroy, his father Richard McHugh, his brothers, Thomas McHugh and his wife Carol and Robert McHugh and his wife Kathleen, his mother-in-law Betty Barrett, his brother-in-law James Barrett, II and his wife Jeanne, his nieces and nephews, and his dog, Daisy. Jim is predeceased by his mother, Audrey McHugh.
