Jack R. Harvey of Livingston died at St. Barnabus Medical Center on Sunday, November 20, 2011. He was 82. Born in San Antonio TX, he was raised in Indianapolis IN. Resident of Livingston for the last 25 years, he previously lived in Short Hills.
Jack was predeceased by Janet Fildew and is survived by his children: Sarah Harvey of Long Beach NY, Roy Harvey of Maitland FL, Lynn Palmer of Stoneham MA, Dean Harvey of Princeton and grandchildren: Andrew DiGiorgio, Griffin & Fiona Harvey.
Graduate of Indiana University and University of Michigan, Jack served in the US Navy during the Korean War.
Jack was a Sales & Marketing executive for The Premium Works in Short Hills before retiring. Cars were a big passion and part of his life since his time by the Indianapolis Speedway. He collected, restored and raced antique autos including Bugattis and other classics.
