Diem, 86, of Bridgewater, formerly of Union, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his home. Born in Newark, Jack lived in the Vailsburg Section until moving to Union in 1956. Jack served in the US Navy during WWII, in the Asiatic – Pacific Theater. A graduate of Rutgers University, Jack earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He was a Vice President of New Jersey Realty Agency, Inc in Newark for 34 years. He retired as Vice President of Management Agency, a division of Jersey Mortgage Co., in Elizabeth. Jack was very active in Christ Lutheran Church of Union, and later in Holy Trinity Lutheran of Union, where he served on the Church Council, Men In Mission Group and various other groups. Predeceased by his wife, Vivian, Jack is survived by his 2 daughters, Pamela Izquierdo and her husband Luis of Clark, NJ, and Lori Moeller and her husband Wayne of Bridgewater, NJ; 5 caring grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and sister in law Lynda Drumm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 11am at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home 1100 Pine Ave., Union.
