Henry Frederick Eichhorn Jr. of New Providence, NJ passed away Nov. 16, 2012 at his home. He was 90 years old.
Henry was born on June 30, 1922 in Queens, NY and graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School. He was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving as a navigator in Europe. After the war, he attended Purdue University and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Most of his career was spent as a designer at RCA.
Henry married Mildred Atherton in 1954 and settled in New Providence, NJ where they raised their four children. He was a long time member of the United Methodist Church of Summit.
Henry is survived by his beloved wife, Mildred, of 58 years, daughter Nancy Tweed and husband Lorne, daughter Kathy Colabaugh and husband John, son John and wife Susan, and son Richard and wife Barbara. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
