Helen Kane (nee Donelik), 96, passed peacefully at her home in Short Hills, NJ on May 1, 2013. Born and raised in Newark. Helen had lived in Short Hills for 40 years. She was a secretary for the Milburn Board of education for 50 years, from 1953-2003. She is pre-deceased by her husband Walter Kane. She is survived by her daughter Maureen Kane and her son Walter Kane.
