Harry Green

Harry Green Jr., 86, died at Berkeley Heights Nursing and rehabilitation Center in Berkeley Heights NJ on April 3, 2012. He was born in Newark NJ the only son of Adah Marie Clemens and Harry L. Green Sr. A long time resident of Plainfield, NJ. He was a graduate of J. Dayton Regional HS in Springfield, class of 1944. His education was interrupted by WWII were he served in the US Army Engineers 516 Bridge Pontoon Company, from Jan 1944- April 1946 in the South Pacific area. He continued his education and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS in 1952 and New York University Graduate School with a Masters Degree in 1954.


Owner Operator of H&A Green and Son Service Stations and Repair Garages for 40 years, at Rt. 22 Center Island Springfield, NJ also the sole proprietor of “Artistry” phonograph records manufacturing.


Surviving is close family friend Dawn Fulton of South Orange and several cousins from PA.
