Gregory J. Sierpowski

Gregory J. Sierpowski of Hanover Township passed away unexpectedly and too soon on May 4, 2020.  He was 40 years old.  Gregory was a beloved son, brother, and uncle.

Born in Morristown, New Jersey, Gregory had lived in Hanover Township for the past 40 years where he graduated from Whippany Park High school in 1999.  He received an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from County College of Morris.  He was employed at At Home Medical for 20 years and previously worked at Bradlees, Eckert, and Bed Bath & Beyond.  He was a member of the Hanover Township Landmark Commission, where he worked to preserve the township’s historical sites as well as the future of Hanover Township’s free space and forests from overdevelopment.  Gregory was an artist, musician, ASCAP songwriter, composer, and music publisher.  He loved all kinds of music, never hesitated to pick up any instrument and see what he could play.  He also was passionate about antiquing, vintage car shows, celebrity autograph collecting, and a professional wrestling enthusiast.

Gregory was a devoted son to Julian and Brygida (Hubisz) Sierpowski.  He was also survived by his cherished:  sister Dorota and her children Michael and Nicole; his brother Jerry and his wife Justyna and their children Sabastian and Chole; his brother Dr. Victor Sierpowski and his wife Sabina and their children Alexander and Victoria; beloved aunt Anna Berdej; cousin Bogdan Berdej and his wife Tara and their children Kevin, Alexandra, Kevin Jr.; cousin Edward Berdej; uncle Lech Sierpowski; godmother Elizabeth and her husband Gene Hanania.

Funeral services are private.  There will be a memorial mass and gathering at a later date.  Arrangements are by Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home in Whippany.
