Grace Aquilino Russomanno, 88, of Toms River, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015. Born and raised in Newark, Grace lived in Springfield for 43 years, before moving to Toms River 7 years ago. Grace worked for NJ Bell for many years, and then as a receptionist at Classics in Glen Rock. Grace was an avid reader, and enjoyed baking and playing BINGO. Known for sending greeting cards, she never missed an occasion.
Predeceased by her husband Michael T. Aquilino, son Michael F. Aquilino, and sister Rosemary Dieser; Grace is survived by her children, Roseann Aquilino, Susan Leigh and her husband Morgan, and Frank Aquilino and his partner Ed Zenker; daughter in law Elizabeth Aquilino; grandchildren Andrea Goldring and her husband Matthew, and Jennifer Rodino and her husband Kenneth; and 3 great grandchildren. Grace will also be missed by her beloved basset hound, Lilly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10am at St. James the Apostle Church, 45 S. Springfield Ave., Springfield, Interment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit. There will be a visitation on Thursday from 5-9pm and on Friday from 4-8pm at the Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave., Springfield, NJ 07081.
