Glen Molchan Sr.

Glen E. Molchan, Sr., of Whippany, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Newark, Glen was a Newark Firefighter for many years, retiring in the 70’s. A veteran of the US Navy, he served during the Korean War. Glen was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons. He was active with the First Presbyterian Church in Whippany and the Boy Scouts, and acted as an usher for the Shakespearean Theatre. As a benefactor, he supported the Wounded Warrior Project, Korean War Monument, and Seton Hall Prep among others. Glen enjoyed his family, and world travel. Glen is survived by his wife Rosemary (nee: McGowan); and son Glen, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 3pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany 494 Rte 10 in Whippany.
