George S. Mulvihill, 82, of Union, New Jersey passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Cranford Health & Extended Care.
George was born on October 3, 1932 in Newark, New Jersey. He was a resident of Union Township for over 50 years.
George was a parishioner of St. Theresa R. C. Church, Kenilworth, NJ. He loved animals, cooking, and tending to his garden. He enjoyed taking trips to the casinos in Atlantic City and The Sands.
George is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Marlene Mulvihill (nee Sacks). And by his children, Craig Mulvihill and wife Janice, Jill Beyer and husband James, and Sharon Mulvihill and partner Donna. He was the grandfather to Jeffrey, Kevin and Ellen Mulvihill and Connor and Patrick Beyer. He is also survived by a brother, Michael Mulvihill and sister, Joan McManus.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue, Union, NJ 07083. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Theresa R. C. Church, 541 Washington Avenue, Kenilworth, NJ 07033. An interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the American Heart Stroke Association at donatenow.heart.org.
