Frank Rossano, 81, of Union, New Jersey passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 27, 2013.

Frank was born on February 29, 1932 in Hoboken, New Jersey. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mauro and Angelia (nee DeCandio) Rossano.

Frank served in the United States Army from 1949 to 1950. He was a parishioner of St. Genevieve’s Catholic Church, Elizabeth, NJ. He loved and adored his dog; Jackie who he rescued. He enjoyed old cowboy movies and discussing politics. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants and loved the beach. He was a family man and loved spending time with his two cherished granddaughters.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Jacqueline Rossano. He was the father to daughter, Linda Rossano-Puff and husband Joseph of Union, NJ and son, Dominic and wife Michelle Rossano of Forked River, NJ. He was the “Poppy” to Danielle and Dominique Rossano. He is also survived by two brothers, Ralph and Peter Rossano and a sister, Suzie Labrano. He was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.

A visitation will be Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Monday, December 30, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bradley, Haeberle, & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at St. Genevieve’s Catholic Church, 200 Monmouth Road, Elizabeth, NJ 07208. An entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ. .
