Frank G. Boyé, III, a lifelong Summit resident died at home on Friday, December 11th.

A funeral service will be held at the William A. Bradley and Son Funeral Home located at 345 Main Street, Chatham, on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at 10:00 am. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00. Interment will follow at the Presbyterian Church Cemetery in New Providence, NJ.

Born at Overlook Hospital in Summit on November 7, 1924, Mr. Boyé lived in Summit most of his life, except for the business related transfers to Providence, RI and Philadelphia, PA. He and his family also spent time in Key Largo, Florida.

He was a graduate of Summit High School and Seton Hall University. He entered Rutgers in 1942, but his education was interrupted by World War II, when he enlisted in the US Navy (South Pacific) 1943-1946.

After the war, he completed his education and started his business career at United States Testing Company, Inc., headquartered in Hoboken, NJ. He held various positions from 1950-1986 and retired as Executive Vice President. He was also a volunteer and served as President of the Hoboken Chamber of Commerce from 1969-1972.

His interests and hobbies were in antique/classic cars and physical fitness. He was a member of the Chatham Club and Fitness Center for over 30 years and continued to be active there until recently.

He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Cook Boyé who died on January, 28, 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Fairchild Boyé, of Cambridge, MA.
