Francisco Barreto, 76, of Maplewood, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012.
Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Francisco entered into the US Army, where he served in the 80th heavy tank battalion, 5th Armored Division. He returend to Puerto Rico where he married the former Blanca Iris Rosario. In 1965 they returned to the United States.
Francisco’s 30 year career was spent with the Orange Newark Elizabeth Bus Company, in Newark.
Francisco is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Blanca; his loving sons Francisco and his wife Connie, and Richard; grandchildren Maryjo and Anthony; 3 sisters, 4 brothers and their families.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday. July 27, 2012 at 10am at the Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home 1100 Pine Ave. Union. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. There will be a visitation on Thursday from 5-9pm at the funeral home.
