Florence (Ida) Monticello, (nee Messler), 98 of Springfield, died on November 5, 2011. Born and raised in Newark, Florence has lived in Springfield since 1954. Florence is pre-deceased by her husband of 44 years Ignazio Monticello and her two sons Richard and Dennis. She is survived by her daughter Priscilla Monticello, her grandchildren Bruce, Scott, Melissa, Susan, Glenn, Dennis and David, 18 great-grandchildren and Godmother of Patty and Michele.
