Flora “Jean” L. Paa, 69, of Union Township, NJ passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2020.
Flora was born on December 22, 1951 to Gavino and Filomena Lacambra in Pangasinan, Philippines.
Prior to emigrating to the US and switching careers in 1989, Flora was a business owner and a college professor. She then made New Jersey her home for the next 31 years where she excelled in her new career. A beloved and accomplished nurse, she was known for her compassion, dedication and commitment to patient advocacy.
Flora was passionate about cooking and gardening. Flowers were one of the keys to her heart. She made sure to surround herself with them at all times. She loved visiting gardens and arboretums for inspiration. She passed down her love of cooking and gardening to both her daughters. She also loved spoiling and playing with her dogs that brought so much joy to her life.
Flora was predeceased by her devoted husband of 43 years, Jose Paa, parents, Gavino and Filomena Lacambra, sisters Aurora and Marilyn. She leaves behind her two daughters, Jewel Paa and Jael Sotto (Earon), sister Josie Judan (Tony) and nieces.
