Filippina Gasser, (nee Dispensiere), 89, of New London, Ct, formerly of Union, NJ on October 14, 2011. Filippina was born and raised in Newark and moved to Union in 1956. She was a coil winder for Electroid Corporation in Springfield for 44 years, retiring in 2005. Filippina is pre-deceased by her husband of 55 years Frank J. Gasser, her sister Nunziata Olivo and two brothers Rosario and Anthony Dispensiere. She is survived by her children Donna M. Barnum, Frank J. Jr. and Michael W., her sister Concetta Cosenza, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
