~~Fernando B. Nicolas, “Ferdie”, 51 of Chatham Township, NJ passed away on October 12, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd in Chatham on Wednesday, October 18th at 10:00am. Interment will follow at St. Teresa Cemetery in Summit. Born in the Philippines, the son of Generoso and Nieves Nicolas, Ferdie immigrated to the United States in the early 1990’s. First settling in California, he moved to Chatham in 1997. Ferdie earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Adamson University in the Philippines and was an autotransfusion technician at Morristown Medical Center. Ferdie was member of the USPSA and was a master target marksman. He also enjoyed golf.
Ferdie was the beloved husband of twenty years to Nenita. He was the loving father of Amorey and Nicholas. He is also survived by his dear mother Nieves and siblings, Leo, Dennis, Nora, Elsa, Dolores, Dentor and Ato.
